Hiking and board sports
At Solty, vacations are all about experiences.
Surfing, kitesurfing, and sailing sessions are on the menu for your stay and can be planned with our help on the beaches of Pors-Poulhan and Gwendrez, which have ideal waves for water sports. Ty-ys is also a stop on the GR 34 hiking trail. You're in the perfect spot for hiking!
Beautiful Audierne
A picturesque fishing port and marina, Audierne nestles in a stunningly beautiful bay. This lively and vibrant village is renowned for its traditional markets and seafood. Its fish ponds are the largest in France.
Audierne Bay is a popular spot for activities. A paradise for water sports, the local beaches are renowned: Trescadec beach, with its crystal-clear waters, or Pors-Poulhan and Gwendrez beaches, with waves that are ideal for surfing. Walk along the GR34, the famous customs officers' path, which runs along the Brittany coastline. There you will see the legendary rocky outcrop marking the end of the continent, the Pointe du Raz, which offers a tumultuous and striking spectacle, especially during storms and high tides. For a “alone in the world” experience, the island of Sein, with its colorful houses, offers a tête-à-tête with the windswept and tide-battered moors. The pier for the boat trip is within walking distance of Ty-ys. Finally, in the beautiful Cap Sizun bird sanctuary, birds reign supreme and live in peace, right before your amazed eyes.
On the menu at our bar...
The café is a lively, vibrant place where hotel guests, GR34 hikers, and remote workers mingle. The Ty-ys bar is the social hub of Audierne Bay. You can also curl up on a sofa and watch nature unfold before your eyes. The view of Trescadec beach is breathtaking. In summer, there is even a temporary terrace overlooking it! On the menu: cocktails, fine wines, and local craft beers.
Taste and enjoy
Enjoy a 360° sea view in the dining room as you savor haute cuisine and haute precision, a salty ballet composed of the fruits of daily fishing. Land, sea, dessert: the menu is focused, composed exclusively of seasonal and local products: lobster rolls, fish and chips, snails from the neighboring farm...
For breakfast, the menu includes homemade Breton cake, yogurt from the nearby dairy, local jams, smoked fish, and more.
